Metrological certification of measuring instruments according to ST RK 2.30 "GSI RK. Procedure for conducting metrological certification of measuring instruments"
Measuring instruments issued into circulation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in single copies and used in the sphere of state metrological control, are subject to metrological certification.

Measuring instruments issued into circulation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in single copies and used in the sphere of state metrological control, are subject to metrological certification.
The following measuring instruments are submitted for metrological certification:

By government authorities
Ministries, supervisory services, akimats, etc. -
Individuals
Individual citizens -
Legal entities
Manufacturers, users, suppliers of measuring instruments
Metrological certification of measuring instruments in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements" is carried out by the State Scientific Metrology Center (hereinafter referred to as SSMC).
Metrological certification of measuring instruments consists of the following stages:
Review of technical documents submitted for metrological certification of measuring instruments and certification of their software in accordance with ST RK 2.46
Experimental studies
of measuring instruments
of measuring instruments
Testing of the verification methodology
of measuring instruments
of measuring instruments
Conducting software certification
in accordance with ST RK 2.46 (if necessary)
in accordance with ST RK 2.46 (if necessary)
Registration of results of metrological
certification of measuring instruments
certification of measuring instruments
Registration of software certification results
in accordance with ST RK 2.46 (if necessary)
in accordance with ST RK 2.46 (if necessary)
If necessary, experimental studies can be carried out in several stages.
If necessary, metrological certification of measuring instruments can be carried out using the material and technical base of accredited testing, verification, calibration laboratories of the Republic of Kazakhstan and third countries.
Work on metrological certification of measuring instruments or its individual stages is carried out on a contractual basis.
If the results of metrological certification of measuring instruments are positive, the applicant is issued the following documents:
- A letter stating that positive or negative results were obtained during experimental studies of the measuring instrument specified in the application
- An approved program for metrological certification of measuring instruments (in the case of developing a program for metrological certification of measuring instruments)
- Approved verification methodology (in case of development of verification methodology)
- Protocol of experimental studies of measuring instruments
- Certificate of metrological certification of measuring instruments of the established sample
- The measuring instrument and verification method are registered in the register of the state system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- In case of negative results of metrological certification of the measuring instrument, the State Scientific Medical Center issues a notice of unsuitability of the measuring instrument for use of the established sample.
